SHARP PERFECTION

     

 Melissa sharpened my block of expensive kitchen knives and a couple pair of shears. They have never been so sharp and the sharp edges are holding as never before. I could not be happier with how sharp everything is and the quick turn-around service she provided. She picked them up one afternoon and brought them back the following morning. What a sweetheart too. Professional yet so friendly and funny. It was a delight meeting and working with her. Thanks Melissa and Sharp Perfection, you're "The Best."

 This review is way past due. Sharp perfection is truly the best sharpener in San Diego. Melissa has been doing all the sharpening for our Paw Alley Pet Grooming Shop.  Melissa is amazing! She has repaired some of my shears that I thought were beyond repair. Other sharpeners have ruined my blades and shears and she always manages to make them perfect again!  Based on a friend's recommendation, I had Melissa sharpen a Japanese, wide-blade filet knife which had become dull through use. She sharpened it to a "factory new" condition with a perfectly angled edge. She even polished the blade to remove some of the minor rusting that had occurred. It's now "dangerously sharp", which is exactly what i wanted, and her service was quick and reasonably priced. Great place to have knives sharpened!

 In this day and age, we all know the difficulty finding someone who is an expert in their field. Today people do everything half ass and if you want some honesty........many don't give a crap.!  I'm a hairstylist & have Hikari Shears. If you don't know about Hikari, they're very high end, fine tuned, and delicate. I used to live in la, and did hair there 30 years. I only got my scissors sharpened at Hikari Headquarters. It was so difficult when I first moved to San Diego. 2 separate ppl did such a bad job with my shears I literally cried. Melissa's work is as good as the Hikari sharpeners in Gardena. Seriously. Thank you for fixing my shears Melissa! She can also repair any warps or accidentally dropped shears, making them good as new. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the SD area, I highly recommend her skills.
